Earthworks protects communities and the environment from the impacts of irresponsible mineral and energy development while seeking sustainable solutions. Founded in 1988, we have offices in six states where we work with communities and grassroots groups to reform government policies, improve corporate practices, influence investment decisions and encourage responsible materials sourcing and consumption. Our programs include the award-winning No Dirty Gold campaign, the Oil & Gas Accountability Project, and the US Mining Reform Campaign.
