Tenants
The David Brower Center will engage a global audience, but its roots lie here in the Bay Area, home to over 1,000 progressive organizations. On the three floors of office space, offices large and small will house a wide range of environmental nonprofits, foundations, and progressive for-profit companies.
To date, over 40 groups have expressed interest in becoming tenants, and three nonprofits have signed letters of intent to become anchor tenants. They include Earth Island Institute, whose myriad action projects carry on David Brower's legacy; Center for Ecoliteracy, whose curriculum integration between gardens and school lunchrooms at The Edible Schoolyard led to its Rethinking School Lunch project; and International Rivers, whose work is committed to protecting rivers and defending the rights of communities that rely on them.
